It has been a while since my last post. There has been a lot that has happened since then.
I had the opportunity to speak at Hang Time in December as well as this past Friday. I am looking forward to being able to share the gospel to the group this next month as well. This past Friday, there was a larger crowd. There were kids there that had not been there in a few years.
We spend the last part of December in Ohio. We had a great time with Sherri's parents. We were also able to visit a few churches while in town. Additionally, I had the opportunity to hand out some tracts and get into some great conversations during the shopping season.
This past Sunday, the Jireh Sports Wrestling Team had three wrestlers compete in the first wrestling tourney of the season. All three competed well, with one of them winning his weight class. More importantly, they all represented Christ well with good sportsmanship.
IUPUI was also back to school last week. Friday I was there for Change Collegian Network. As it happened, no students showed up for the meeting, but I was able to meet a few students and get into one good conversation. Jim Miller came out with me and he was also able to initiate some conversation as well.
I just got an e-mail and off the phone with some co-laborers with Good Messengers. We will be handling the CD and DVD duplicating for the ministry over the course of at least the next several weeks. Our friends are heading out of town for a few weeks to do some ministry at some camper grounds in Florida. We will be praying that God uses them on this journey.
Well, I need to get ready to go.
We really need prayers for God's provision right now. Things are pretty tight financially and we are really learning about trusting God for our provision.
